How to choose a herbal tea to get related benefits

You should be carefully getting a better understanding of the herbal tea and your health situation: choose something is mild and no harm to stomach, not hot or cold.

Note: Usually when I choose the herbal tea, I care much about whether the herbal tea is good for stomach and spleen or not, for both stomach and spleen are the basic of our body in Chinese medicine. Image that someone who can’t eat well, how can he live well.

Recommended 6 type of herbal tea:

There are so many wonderful herbal teas to choose from. Here are a few of the most common. Don’t be afraid to try something new!!!


Ginger tea:
Another great digestive aid, ginger can be used to curb nausea, vomiting or upset stomach due to motion sickness.

Tips for drinking:
Make fresh ginger tea by simmering a piece of ginger root on the stove for 10 to 15 minutes—add fresh lemon juice and honey when you have a cold for a powerful germ-fighting combination.

Goji berry tea:
The Goji berry is quite famous for its properties and nutritious. And it can be drink by any people at any time, except one period which is indicated in Chinese medicine, the first month after the women give birth to Child. The goji has many properties:
1.    Enhance immune system function;
2.    Protect the liver and eyesight, I usually mention the eyesight with the liver together, for it the good liver connect with the good eyesight in the Chinese medicine.
3.    Boost sperm production and improve circulation, and so on.

Tips for drinking: add 10-15 pieces of goji berry into 300ml water, and some honey suckle for daily drinking

Chamomile tea:
A gentle calming and sedative tea made from flowers, chamomile tea can be helpful for insomnia. It can also be helpful with digestion after a meal. The chamomile tea could also help to cure the cough and bronchitis, when you have a cold or fever, or as a gargle for inflammation of the mouth. Take some Chamomile, add the licorice and moyeam tea to get all the medicinal benefits.
Tips for drinking: get 4-5 pieces of chamomile tea and 2-3 pieces licorice into 300ml water, and some honey for cleanse body hear and promote the liver.

Moyeam tea:
The moyeam tea contains a wide variety of polysaccharides, 17 amino acids, vitamins, 14 essential trace elements and the highest flavonoids which have a powerful anti-oxidant property-which may help ward off disease and the signs of aging. The nature moyeam can help to regulate and balance a number of different body systems, especially the respiratory, cardiovascular, hormone and immune systems.
Tips for drinking:
Some office ladies often forget to have their breakfast, but if you have some brown sugar and moyeam tea in hand, you could have a different breakfast.
Boil 2 pieces of moyeam teabags with 400-500ml, pour 200-300ml water into the cup and add 5g brown sugar, enjoy it when the temperature is fine.

The osmanthus tea contains health enhancing microelements like Selenium, Cobalt, Manganese, and Molybdenum etc. The main properties:
1.    It is especially good for stomach and spleen, and help to increase the appetite.
2.    It is also a detox cleaning tea. It is a natural cleanser of our body, it also helps prevent bad breathe.
3. Beautify and whitening the skin etc.
Tips for drinking:
Add 2g dried osmanthus Flower to 200ml hot water and enjoy it directly.
Get some jujube, and boil it with some sugar, when the water is going to finish, add some osmanthus flower, have a try and you will like it.

Rosehip tea:
Rosehips are the fruit of the rose plant and are one of the best plant sources of vitamin C, which is important for the immune system, skin and tissue health and adrenal function. Consider reaching for rosehip tea next time you need a health boost.


Tips for drinking: get 2 spoon of rosehip into 300ml boiled 100 degree water, enjoy it after 15 mins.
